Quick update: Last year, November 2017, I recieved the WIFTA, Women in Film & Television Atlanta scholarship award.

I was extremely grateful to recieved the WIFTA 2017 Scholarship award. I was called on a Friday morning right after my interview with Fox 5 News. Michelle Rivera, one of the committee members, surprised me by asking if I was available to attend their annual gala that Saturday! It was the best weekend ever! Some of the top networks and production companies were at the Gala. Here’s to the next generation of women filmmakers. ha!
